Osborne Family Lights at Disney's Hollywood Studios
The Osborne Family Lights extravaganza at Disney's Hollywood Studios is quite a story in itself. Jennings Osborne, an Arkansas businessman, began putting up lights around his house way back in 1986 at the request of his daughter. Each year, the creative display grew exponentially prompting Mr. Osborne to purchase several adjacent plots of land to expand the show. Neighbors complained, however, and Osborne was legally required to cease his activity. In 1995, the Walt Disney Company brought the Osborne Christmas lights to Walt Disney World and the results can be seen in this glitzy sparkly shot by one of our regulars, BarrieB.
