Did You Have Breakfast?

So, I'm not sure if you folks all had breakfast this morning... I did, but this makes me feel soooo hungry again ºoº

Magical Castle at Sunset

Wow, this picture just conveys a great sense of tranquility. I love Disney at sunset pictures, they're just particularly magical...

Don't Forget This

Here We Come!

The best moment of your Walt Disney World Vacation.

Grand Floridian Monorail Sunset

Grand Floridian Monorail

Although it looks like the apocalypse is occurring in this shot, it was not intended! The original shot has a completely blown out sky so the photographer (Christian Lambert) really had no clue that this is what laid behind it.

Closing Time at Disneyland

Main Street USA Disneyland

Great composition and processing on this shot of Main Street USA (Disneyland) by Justin Brown just before park close. This is a 5 exposure HDR tonemapped with Photomatix, and then finished with Lightroom.

Intense Castle and Carrousel

Outstanding shot of the Prince Charming Regal Carousel, with Cinderella's Castle in the background. Light, texture and motion come together in this powerful take by AndreeaRadu.

Imagination at Sunsert

Epcot Monorail, plus Imagination pavillion, plus a glorious Florida sunset... You can hardly go wrong with this combination, as this picture by Bob Desmond shows...

The Beast's Castle

Beast Castle Magic Kingdom

Construction on the Fantasyland expansion seems to be progressing quite nicely, and Beast's castle looks quite impressive in this composition by Brett Kiger who seems to have caught the Imagineer's essence perfectly...

Epcot anticipation before the "BANG!"

Epcot Illuminations

The sun comes down, the crowd gathers for an amazing show. I just can't get tired of it. Great sense of anticipation on this Epcot photograph that tells a story by SpreadTheMagic.

Disneyland Partners at Sunset

Disneyland Partners Statue

Thanks to perspective compression, the Main Street Train Station appears a short distance from Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse, and Carthay Circle Theatre looks like it's right behind the Train Station! Inspiring shot by Tom Bricker. If you enjoy Tom's picture, I strongly encourage you to check out his gorgeous e-book: "Disneyland: Sunrise to Sunrise".

Boardwalk: Let There Be Rays of Light!

Gorgeous shot of the sun poking out bejind the Boardwalk resort are at Walt Disney World by Rhys Asplundh. An instant favorite!

Fantastic New Matterhorn at Disneyland

Disneyland New Matterhorn

The construction walls are starting to come down all over Disneyland and California Adventure. This picture by Justin Brown is a single exposure, with a couple of filters and some minor tweaks in Lightroom, but no HDR. Absolutely love the color, and the new lighting on the Matterhorn waterfalls. Nice!

Mine, Mine, Mine...

Just a couple of seagulls arguing over who owns Space Ship Earth... Beautiful tones in the sky, great lighting, composition and depth of field on this shot by Jeff Krause.

Colorful, spinning, awesome Dumbo

New Dumbo Ride Fantasyland

Amazing lighting on the new Dumbo ride at the Magic Kingdom Fantasyland expansion... Picture by Brett Kigger, who can't wait for the second Dumbo spinner to open for the photo opportunities that it will present...

Disney World Inauguration (Life Magazine)

Disney World Inauguration

Vintage photograph of Opening Day at Walt Disney World, Florida. This picture appeared in a Life Magazine article, December 1971. Check out the full article over here.

2 icons side-by-side

Two of my absolute favourites, side-by-side (well, sort of...) Menacing Stormtrooper at the Disney Hollywood Studios with Mickey in the background from the official Star Wars Weekends Flickr account...

Old Friends. Mickey and Walt.

Simple, yet timeless take on the Partners Statue at Disneyland...

Big Alice, Little Alice

Absolutely adorable shot of Alice in Wonderland - big and small - performing a curtsey at Disneyland's Tea Cups... Picture by briberry on Flickr.
