The Tree of Life is a fourteen story (145-foot) artificial tree that has been the icon of Disney's Animal Kingdom since it opened on April 22, 1998. On the exterior of it are carved images of 325 animals. This closeup taken by athena1970 with a Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z10 shows some of the intricate detail.
